As a project manager (m/f/d), you are the day-to-day face for the client, responsible for managing the client relationship at an operational level and ensuring that the right scope is delivered on time and on budget. You should enjoy keeping an eye on the content, schedule and financial success of one or more projects at the same time. You can expect challenging activities on an international level and numerous well-known customers.

Most of your team colleagues live close to our Headquarters in Wiesbaden, but if you live somewhere else in Germany, we are fine with that as well, as long as you are willing to come visit the office approx. once per month. Traveling to see a client is necessary about 1-4 times per year, depending on the project stage.

Your job

  • You are the primary contact person for customers during the entire project lifecycle and as such own and maintain the customer relationship
  • You manage successful product rollouts to new and existing customers and support the customer in shaping and prioritizing their requirements
  • You create and own project plans including timelines and budget plans and create regular project progress reports as well as keep stakeholders informed
  • You report budgets and schedules to both the client and internal stakeholders (finance) to ensure accurate billing and you coordinate invoices and prepare regular financial reports and budget forecasts
  • You support the Product Owner in translating the customer requirements into a feature level rollout roadmap and you are also responsible for writing the respective user stories
  • As an interface between customer and development teams, you support and work with other roles like UI/UX, Development, Architects etc. – both internal and external

What you bring along

  • Sound experience managing projects in software development as a project manager or in a similar role (e.g. key account manager, business development manager, product owner, management consultant), ideally in an e-Commerce environment
  • Excellent technical understanding, ability to participate in technical discussions and understand and articulate business requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities, independent, proactive approach, structured way of thinking 
  • Excellent English and German language skills
  • Willingness to travel
