Hi! We are the Omnevo Core Team and are looking forward to meeting you. With our 14 colleagues comprised of developers, QA and DevOps engineers we are now looking for additional support in our cross-functional set-up.
As a Product Owner, you are the central link between the customer and our development teams, and you should enjoy keeping an eye on the content, schedule and financial success of one or more projects at the same time. You can expect challenging activities on an international level and numerous well-known projects.
We are convinced that we are building the leading software solution in the travel retail sector and enjoy mastering new challenges together and achieving great things as a team. With a lot of focus, flexibility, and collaboration we are constantly improving our solution.
Most of your team colleagues are remote in different parts of Germany, but you also have Omnevo colleagues on site in Wiesbaden. If you live in Germany, you are free to choose whether you want to work remotely, in a hybrid work mode or in our beautiful office in Wiesbaden, you decide. However, we appreciate your willingness to travel to our office several times a year.
Your job
- You are responsible for creating and prioritizing the backlog and user stories
- You are conscientious in the documentation of product requirements, user stories, project progress and you prepare feature/product documentation
- You are creative and find solutions based on the existing functionalities of our software and learn to make independent decisions regarding the future outline of our product
- You organize and attend regular appointments such as refinements and solution architecture meetings
- You support sales and management by providing technical information to the respective customers
- You represent your team and the product in discussions with external stakeholders
What you bring along
- You have sound experience as a product owner of a software development team, ideally in the field of e-commerce
- You are committed to participating in technical discussions and are willing to understand and learn about technical solutions
- You have already gained experience in e-commerce and with OMS
- You are empathetic and believe in people over processes and thus ensure a trustful working environment
- You are known for your independent, proactive approach, decisiveness, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- You have a very good command of written and spoken English and German
