At Omnevo, we build digital commerce solutions for airlines, airports and rail operators, from pre-order and e-commerce to onboard retail and back-office operations.

This is a senior role with a high degree of autonomy. You own quality for our customer projects, from kick-off to go-live and beyond. You decide what gets tested, how, and when something is good enough to ship. You work closely with our development teams and with our customers’ QA teams. Increasingly, you’ll also work with AI agents that help us write, maintain and analyse tests.

📍 Location: Remote-first, EU-based. A valid EU work permit is required.

Your Role

• Own the test strategy and test plans for your projects, aligned with the customer’s QA team
• Test business requirements and non-functional requirements (performance, security, reliability) using a risk-based approach that focuses effort where it matters most
• Build and maintain automated and regression tests with Playwright and TypeScript
• Use AI agents to generate, maintain and triage tests. You set the guardrails, review the output and stay accountable for the result
• Log bugs, follow them through to the fix and run the retests
• Act as the link between product owners, developers, other testers and the customer
• Plan and run joint test sessions with different stakeholders
• Keep everyone informed about quality status and risks
• Create the documentation for approval and acceptance

What You Bring

• Several years of hands-on experience in software testing, including test strategy, bug management and test automation
• Solid coding experience in TypeScript. You write and maintain test code with the same care as production code
• Hands-on experience with AI-supported testing workflows, for example generating, maintaining or analysing tests with AI tools or agents, and the drive to take this further
• You work autonomously: you set your own priorities, take ownership of release quality and know when to escalate
• A solid understanding of testing methods and levels, from unit tests to end-to-end and acceptance testing
• A strong technical grasp of APIs and microservices, good problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
• Confidence with customers and clear, open communication
• Fluent English; German is a plus

• Experience in e-commerce, payments or travel tech
• Experience with performance or security testing
