Local Technical Account Manager (m/f/d)

For our new customer in Australia we are searching for a Technical Account Manager to support the customer during daily operations. This role provides the candidate with the opportunity to develop into a regional Key Account Manager for future Omnevo customers. 

Your tasks as Local Technical Account Manager

The role requires a strong technical background as well as strong communication skills to develop and build a trusting relationship with our new client in Australia. In this position you serve as the link between key customer contacts and internal teams and have the responsibility to resolve technical issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints as well as improvement requests:

  • Support the customer proactively in using the Omnevo Software Suite and identify further training needs. Work closely with Key account management and BI/Analytics team in Morocco to set up continuous reporting on sales data and completeness of data in back office
  • Support the Omnevo Helpdesk team with background information on request and issues raised by the customer
  • Prioritization (with customer and management) of releases and monitoring of releases – coordinating with Ops Team and caterer, that devices are kept online and restarted, if necessary, etc.
  • Communication during bigger incidents, coordination of post-mortem meetings and providing summary reports of post-mortem with action items to the customer. 
  • Follow up on post-mortem action items and prioritization in sprint with Product management.
  • Support requests for hardware and SLA reporting with hardware suppliers for ePos.
  • Create monthly sub-contractor SLA reports
     

What you bring along

  • Technical background and understanding, preferably a degree in software engineering or data analytics.
  • 2-3 years of experience, ideally in the aviation industry or travel retail industry
  • Agile project Management skills, ideally in handling customers, with the ability to think strategically and innovatively, yet pragmatic and hands on mentality.
  • A self-starter with a desire for ownership and commitment to the job and excellent service
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, experience with agile organisations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to network, build relationships and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Willingness to travel – the role is based in Brisbane and will include some travel within Australia
  • Optional French language skills
